The new SJ9 Soundbar from LG with the integration of Dolby Atmos aims to provide the closet thing to an immersive and cinematic sound experience for your home while providing an impressive 500W of power. But how do you communicate this through a social media channel that isn’t known for great sound performance.
Our challenge was to find a way to highlight the benefits of adding an LG Soundbar to a home entertainment experience without the ability to demonstrate the sound qualities of the product and the added limitations of a small budget.
Solution
Instead of trying to highlight the sound quality of the product, our strategy was to go the opposite way and demonstrate what happens when you have a bad sound experience when watching your favourite content. In effect, highlight why great content deserves great sound.
Taking advantage of a partnership between LG and Studio Canal that gave us access to a library of movies including the 4K reissue of Terminator 2, our approach demonstrated what happens when you remove the proper sound experience from a great movie.
